Every legal section is paired with a plain-language explanation so business owners, customers, and CHIMA™ staff can understand the promise before they act.
Terms of Use
Effective draft: June 21, 2026. This draft is written for CHIMA™ internal review and should receive final legal review before production launch.
These Terms explain how people, businesses, and CHIMA™ use The Enterprise Gallery marketplace. Each section includes the formal terms and a plain-English explanation so customers and business owners can understand what they are agreeing to.
1. What The Enterprise Gallery is
Legal terms
The Enterprise Gallery is a curated business marketplace and promotional surface operated by CHIMA™ for business discovery, saved business shortlists, hire/request intake, claim and registration workflows, Spotlight, Showcase, SnapShots, distribution features, and related CHIMA™ Systems account experiences.
CHIMA™ may curate, moderate, rank, label, feature, suppress, archive, or remove listings and related marketplace content to protect users, maintain marketplace quality, comply with law, or support operational review.
What this means
This is not just a static directory. It is a curated marketplace connected to CHIMA™ Systems. CHIMA™ can review and control what appears publicly so the marketplace stays useful, safe, and trustworthy.
2. Accounts, eligibility, and CHIMA™ Systems
Legal terms
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, registering a business, claiming a business, sending a request, or using any CHIMA™ Systems portal feature. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Some marketplace actions may create or update a CHIMA™ Systems account, portal user, partner record, business claim, action item, or app entitlement. Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked if CHIMA™ cannot verify identity, business authority, or safe usage.
What this means
If you submit a business or claim one, we may create a CHIMA™ Systems account for you so you can finish setup, track review, and manage your business. Use real information and keep your login safe.
3. Business listings, registration, and claims
Legal terms
Submitting a business profile, claim, correction, or media item does not guarantee approval, publication, ranking, verification, promotion, or continued display. CHIMA™ may request additional information, reject incomplete or unsafe submissions, and delay publication until review checks pass.
Business owners and authorized representatives are responsible for the accuracy of business names, services, locations, contact methods, public claims, pricing statements, availability, photos, social links, and any other submitted content.
What this means
When someone submits a business, it goes into review. It should only go live after CHIMA™ checks it. Owners must make sure their profile is honest and current.
4. Hire requests, saved businesses, and introductions
Legal terms
Marketplace users may save businesses, submit hire requests, ask for introductions, or request quotes. Saving a business is private account activity unless and until you choose to send a request, message, introduction, or other explicit communication.
CHIMA™ may review, route, price, decline, delay, or request clarification for marketplace requests. CHIMA™ is not a party to every customer-business agreement unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
What this means
You can save businesses privately. A business should not get your personal details just because you saved it. If you send a hire request, CHIMA™ may help review and route it, but the actual work terms still need to be agreed to separately.
5. Credits, boosts, paid placement, and pricing
Legal terms
CHIMA™ may offer credits, boosts, featured placements, distribution packages, subscriptions, or other paid marketplace features. Paid placement does not guarantee sales, leads, ranking permanence, audience size, approval, or business outcomes.
Sponsored, boosted, or paid visibility should be labeled where appropriate. Credits, refunds, expiration, billing, taxes, and subscription rules will be governed by the applicable checkout, credit, or service terms presented at purchase or activation.
What this means
Credits and boosts can help a business get seen, but they do not buy guaranteed customers. Paid visibility should be clear, and specific payment rules need to appear at checkout.
6. Spotlight, Showcase, SnapShots, and distribution
Legal terms
If you submit or approve materials for Spotlight, Showcase, SnapShots, newsletters, YouTube, TikTok, CHIMA™ Business Marketplace, or other distribution channels, you grant CHIMA™ permission to host, format, edit, excerpt, display, promote, and distribute those materials for marketplace and promotional purposes, subject to any separate written rights agreement.
You represent that you have the rights needed for any submitted logos, images, videos, testimonials, names, likenesses, trade names, links, and other materials.
What this means
If you ask CHIMA™ to promote your business, CHIMA™ needs permission to use the content you provide. Do not upload photos, videos, logos, or testimonials unless you have the right to use them.
7. User content and acceptable use
Legal terms
You may not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive, discriminatory, deceptive, malicious, spammy, privacy-invasive, or unsafe content. You may not scrape, overload, bypass access controls, impersonate others, submit fake claims, manipulate reviews, or interfere with marketplace operations.
CHIMA™ may remove content, limit functionality, suspend accounts, preserve records, or report activity where CHIMA™ believes misuse, fraud, security risk, or legal risk exists.
What this means
Use the marketplace honestly. No fake businesses, fake reviews, spam, harassment, stolen media, or attempts to break the system.
8. Marketplace information and disclaimers
Legal terms
Business profiles, trust indicators, availability, reviews, categories, response estimates, badges, and recommendations may come from business submissions, CHIMA™ review, public sources, internal records, customer interactions, or automated systems. CHIMA™ does not warrant that marketplace information is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
The marketplace is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. CHIMA™ disclaims implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
What this means
We work to keep information useful, but customers should still confirm details before hiring. Trust scores and badges help guide decisions; they are not guarantees.
9. Liability, disputes, and indemnity
Legal terms
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CHIMA™ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption arising from marketplace use.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold CHIMA™ harmless from claims arising out of your content, your marketplace activity, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your agreements with third parties.
What this means
CHIMA™ cannot be responsible for every downstream issue between customers and businesses. If your actions or content create a legal problem, you may be responsible for it.
10. Changes, suspension, and contact
Legal terms
CHIMA™ may update these Terms as marketplace features, CHIMA™ Systems integrations, credits, boosts, distribution channels, legal requirements, or operational needs change. Material changes should be communicated through reasonable notice where appropriate.
CHIMA™ may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when needed for safety, security, nonpayment, misuse, inaccurate information, unresolved verification, legal compliance, or operational integrity.
What this means
As The Enterprise Gallery grows, these Terms will need updates. If there are big changes, CHIMA™ should tell users clearly. If an account or listing becomes risky, CHIMA™ can pause it.
